Commercial property damage is difficult to clean up

A broken pipe flooded this hotel with gallons and gallons of water. SERVPRO of Ozone Park /Jamaica Bay received the call from the insurance provider to assess the situation. The assessment was quick since the manager realized that mitigation services were needed right away.
We started with the extraction of the standing water. Extraction can remove up to 80% of the water. The rest needs to evaporate but we help it dry faster using air movement and dehumidification.
Management was very happy to know that most of the facility could be usable even with the air movers and dehumidifiers in place. We understand that it is noisy and inconvenient at times but the faster it dries the sooner we can be out of the way.
